Duyar Pompa aims to double the share of exports

Duyar Pompa, which produces centrifugal pumps for HVAC applications, covers 15 percent of its turnover from export activities. The company, which exports to 10 countries, aims to double its export share.
Duyar Pompa, which produces centrifugal pumps for HVAC (heating-cooling-ventilation) applications; carries out production, marketing and sales activities for centrifugal pumps, fire pumps, boosters, inline dry / wet rotor pumps, waste water pumps, expansion tanks. Noting that 15 percent of the turnover comes from annual export activities, Faik Öner said, “We export to 10 countries. Our goal is to increase these numbers 2 times. In this context, while our market analyses are continuing, our organizational scheme is expanding every day and we are providing new jobs.”
10 million TL dedicated for R&D
Stating that they made their investments entirely on R & D in 2020-2021, Öner said that they allocated a budget of 10 million TL for R & D works in 2022 with the same perspective. Öner noted that they have done product development at the international level for UL Listed and FM Approved certifications originating from the USA, which they aim to obtain for fire pumps.

Focused on 100 percent growth in sales
The company also continued UL/FM works for fire pumps on the R&D side. Duyar Pompa General Manager Faik Öner, who noted that they started the construction of inline dry rotor, pumps in 2022, said, “We have the goal of completing the entire series in 2023. With this project, UL / FM works are also continuing for our fire pumps. We foresee a capacity increase of 60 percent in 2022 compared to the previous year.” Expressing that R & D investments only in 2021 amounted to about 5 million TL and turnover grew by 50 percent compared to 2020, Öner said, “The increase in production was 35 percent. The first 2 months of 2022 started stably, but for 2022, we expect 60 percent growth in production and 100 percent growth on the sales side.”

Stating that DNP series horizontal end suction norm pumps and booster pumps have completed their product ranges in 2021, Öner said, “DNP series pumps are designed as more efficient products with a low carbon footprint compared to our competitors. Boosters, on the other hand, are products that make lower energy consumption and are especially quieter. We are providing services in the HVAC sector with these product groups.”
