Inaugurated by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the 57th airport of Turkey, the New Tokat Airport, has been secured by Duyar Pompa and Booster systems.

At New Tokat Airport, the construction of which was completed in 3 years with an investment cost of 1 billion 200 million TL and a capacity of 2 million passengers.

Duyar Pompa took part in the project with OPUS series frequency controlled wet rotor circulation pumps, DIP series frequency controlled dry rotor circulation pumps and DMVP SS F series frequency controlled stainless steel booster groups, DWWP series wastewater pumps and DGT series expansion tanks.

Tokat Airport Project

Pumps With Frequency Converter

The most typical example of this is the OPUS circulation pumps used in the heating system. Circulation pumps with frequency converter allow the pump to operate closer to the actual required value and provide significant energy savings by reducing the frequency in load requirements corresponding to 98% of the heating period.”

“Another issue that affects energy efficiency is related to the choice of pumps. If the pump is selected at the wrong point, the advantages of high motor and hydraulic efficiency are almost eliminated. The highest hydraulic efficiency point indicated on the pump curve needs to be selected in the region of ±20%. Focused on 100 percent growth in sales
The company also continued UL/FM works for fire pumps on the R&D side. Duyar Pompa General Manager Faik Öner, who noted that they started the construction of inline dry rotor, pumps in 2022, said, “We have the goal of completing the entire series in 2023. With this project, UL / FM works are also continuing for our fire pumps. We foresee a capacity increase of 60 percent in 2022 compared to the previous year.” Expressing that R & D investments only in 2021 amounted to about 5 million TL and turnover grew by 50 percent compared to 2020, Öner said, “The increase in production was 35 percent. The first 2 months of 2022 started stably, but for 2022, we expect 60 percent growth in production and 100 percent growth on the sales side.”

Stating that DNP series horizontal end suction norm pumps and booster pumps have completed their product ranges in 2021, Öner said, “DNP series pumps are designed as more efficient products with a low carbon footprint compared to our competitors. Boosters, on the other hand, are products that make lower energy consumption and are especially quieter. We are providing services in the HVAC sector with these product groups.”
